Evaluation
software must be installed and run using an account with
administrative privileges.
Please consult your IT
support staff to insure that you are able to do this.
(Full versions do not require
administrative privileges in order to run.)
Evaluation versions of our software titles are available to
teachers, academic administrators and technology coordinators.
Evaluation versions are not intended for classroom use and will function for about thirty days.

At the present time we are accepting evaluation requests only from
North America.

*Please download the versions appropriate to the platform(s) you wish to use. Mac PowerPC versions
will not run on Intel-based Macs, and Mac Intel versions
will not run on PowerPC-based Macs.

Installation

Please uninstall any previous
evaluation versions of the program you've downloaded.
To install the software, double-click the downloaded
file and follow the instructions as they are presented.
You will need to have the installation key ready if you are
installing a Windows version.
To run the software, use the newly-created items in your
Windows Start/Programs menu or Desktop icons, or look for
the installed folder in the Mac Applications folder and
double-clicking the application. If you are using a
Mac version, you will need to have the installation key
ready.

Important Note for Windows Vista Users
Evaluations programs MUST be
run as an administrator. There are two
ways to do this:
A) Right-click the
program or shortcut icon and choose "Run as
administrator"
B) Configure the
program to always "run as administrator."
To do this, follow these steps:
- Right-click the program's executable
file or a shortcut icon to it
- Select "Properties"
- Choose the "Shortcut" tab
- Click the "Advanced" button
- Put a checkmark in the "Run as administrator"
checkbox
- Click "Ok" and "Ok" to exit the dialog boxes
- You can now start the program by
double-clicking the .exe file or shortcut to it

To uninstall the software after it has expired:
- Windows: Use Control Panel's Add/Remove Software feature
- Mac: Drag the folder containing the program to the
trash. Also delete the entries in /Library/Preferences
and /Library/Receipts that refer to the programs.
These files will have RSI in their names.
